As pastor of First Christian Church, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. In the time you share with us, it is my sincere prayer that God will speak to you in some way that is helpful to you. Please consider this website an invitation to participate in God’s agenda, in God’s mission, doing God’s will in the world.

Our motto at First Christian Church is to know Christ and to make Christ known and our church is open to everyone. I know there is something meaningful waiting for you at First Christian Church. If there is anything we may do for you, just let us know. We are here to serve, to welcome you, and we care about you!

I want to share with you one of my favorite passages of scripture that continues to inspire and challenge me. Hebrews13:1-2: “Keep being concerned about each other as the Lord’s followers should. Be sure to welcome strangers into your home. By doing this, some people have welcomed angels as guests, without even knowing it.”

Where Should I Park?
Parking is available on all sides of our downtown location at North 3rd and Orange Streets.

Which Service Should I Attend?
Our 9:30 service is contemporary and informal, with praise music.
Our 10:45 service offers a more traditional style of worship.

What About Children?
Greeters are available to welcome and direct visitors to Sunday school classes, the nursery, chapel and sanctuary.
Childcare is provided for infants through 2 years old in the Nursery and Toddler Classrooms for both our 9:30 and 10:45 Services.

Will Communion Be Celebrated?
We celebrate Communion every week and we believe that all are welcome at the Lord’s Table.

What About Sunday School?
On Sunday morning, we offer Sunday school classes for all ages. (Please look further in our website menu for more details on those opportunities.)

Before or after our worship time, please feel free to explore our Information Station in the foyer outside the sanctuary; we look forward to greeting you!
